What exactly is an objet d'art?
Basically, an objet d'art is simply a small object of some artistic value or worth.
So, if someone makes a comment regarding one of your possessions, amy suggests telling the person that you are a connoisseur of the objets d'art.
Objets d'Art may include, but ar by no means limited to, furniture, tapestries, ivories, gold and silver items, jewellery, glass, faience and porcelain, bronzes.
