Information Literacy
Libraries and Information Literacy
The goal of any library should be to impart basic information skills and research techniques to users through collaborative efforts with non-library training, library instruction sessions and individual contact.
A library's audience should be aware of the wide variety of information resources available to them. Using these resources, they should effectively identify, access, retrieve and evaluate appropriate information for their needs.
