Web site searching is one of amy's favorite past times. Unfortunately as the Web increases in size, so to do the number of hits matching your search terms.
For many years, amy has conducted faculty/staff and student information sessions on Internet search techniques to yield more precise search results.
Of late, amy has pretty much been stuck in a rut in terms of the search tools she uses, but is always open to new Internet search tools....
And to a lesser extent...
Part of the reason why amy stays with her tried and true search tools is that she knows advanced search techniques that can be used in the search tools - techniques vary from search tool to search tool. amy's theory is that it's better to know a few Internet search tools really well rather than know of lots of search tools but only be able to do basic searching.
