Dog Rescue
If you're looking for a dog, why not consider adopting from an animal society group or a dog rescue group?
There are so many loving dogs out there in need of your love and attention.
My first two dogs and any future dogs will definitely be coming from an adoption source.
I love my Shelties that came from a reputable breeder, but I have to admit that every now and then I think about a Sheltie mix that I saw at a Humane Society and was simply two emotional to adopt.
When bringing a dog into your life, please understand a few things:
- Dogs need care - vaccinations, check-ups, spaying/neutering, medications, grooming, teeth cleaning, equipment, dietary needs.
- Dogs need time - exercise, attention, training.
- Dogs need space - sleeping, eating, bathroom needs, exercise.
- Dogs give love, so please give them your love and attention and raise your hand only to deliver a gentle pat.
